Musical Philosophy

This page is all about showing off how music today is going to be the literature of tomorrow. Getting a proper understanding of the history of western society throughout history was always difficult due to the lack of resources that were available up until the 21st century, but through historic teachings, writings and most importantly art, we have been able to accurately understand society throughout the years.  However, now a days, great poets, artist and people in general are being overpowered by trends in a capitalistic society. We care more about what the art can produce for one, instead of what the art means to one. So if art is being overpowered by the cooperate need for success than why do I think it is going to be the literature of tomorrow?

The Abundance

Is there is a lot of music being produced by cooperation strictly to play on trends, to gain the most profit? Is there a lot of music being produce by people who's love is the music they produce? yes. Can these be true at the same time? Yes, but with how the media landscape is now a days, everybody is going to have an opinion on a popular song, that holds truth to it. This was easier to combat in the pre internet society because it would have actual journalistic integrity to the opinion, but now due to majority of people being fed different lies about different news opioins, we've gained a loyalty to the critics/sources we relate to the most, instead of taking the words of the music. The difference is we are confused because we are being fed multiple different values and relations that we should follow based on the political and environmental state of the world, and we trust these opions because we trust the source they are coming from. The source is bound to change and get lot in years to come, the art that is made will never change, and will forever adapt to the emotional state of humanity, and will always be studied. Therefore, as long as humanity still loves art, art will still be a canvas for humanities history.
